KANDY HIRSCH

Kandy Hirsch is the Chief Executive Office of The Leader’s Edge, LLC, a serial entrepreneur, a lifelong learner, and a trusted advisor to scores of business owners.

She is the founding Tucson chair for the Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO), leading two Peer Advisory Groups for 30 women business owners who recognize that there is strength and wisdom in numbers.

Ms Hirsch is a Certified Emotional Intelligence workshop facilitator & Coach. She conducts Emotional Intelligence assessments for individuals, teams or entire companies and leads workshops to help add emotional intelligence to the mix of supervisory and management skills.

As an entrepreneur with a business degree and a Licensed Massage Therapist Kandy opened one of the first of its kind airport-based massage offerings in Baltimore Washington International Airport. At the same time, she sought and won the contract to provide massage for Marriott Corporate Headquarters Wellness Program in Bethesda, MD.

When she sets her mind to something…look out. At 52 Kandy thought triathlon would be “interesting” and went about a strict training regimen. She completed more than 30 triathlons, culminating in her completing a Half Ironman®.

Kandy brings a unique combination of skills to her work.  She is one of a handful of Licensed Mental Health Counselors who have completed certification as an executive coach with a specialty in supporting executives in family-owned business. GARY HIRSCH

Gary Hirsch joined NAVIX in March 2018 to help business owners plan and execute successful exits, achieving financial freedom and clarity regarding what comes next. He is the Vice President and Co-Founder of The Leader’s Edge, an Arizona executive coaching, consulting and training firm. A professional certified executive coach, he helps CEO’s, business owners and their management teams work more effectively, create a more collaborative work environment, overcome challenges and find more enjoyment and meaning in their work.

In 2008 during the height of the recession he opened the Tucson market for Vistage International where he built and chaired three Vistage peer advisory groups for CEO’s, business owners and their key executives for a decade.

His clients have included CEO’s and managers from consulting; manufacturing; engineering; medicine; real estate; design; law; investing; show business and more. He has worked with clients on five continents, has developed business partnerships with companies in Europe, Asia, and Eastern Europe and is a “coach’s coach,” helping other executive coaches refine their coaching techniques and build their practices. As one client said, “Through Gary’s guidance, my business underwent a transformation that is nothing short of remarkable. In six months my sales performance went from lackluster, to my most successful year ever in 5 years of sales. As I approach the end of the first quarter, I am on track to eclipse my best year ever. Prior to joining NAVIX Mr. Hirsch has enjoyed a variety of business successes. He served as Vice President for Macro International, a Washington DC division of the Opinion Research Corporation where he provided more than $15 million in marketing, market research and management consulting for the United States Department of Energy, Argonne National Laboratory, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and a variety of state and local governments and non-profit agencies.

He served as Vice President of Global Energy Partners, a Lafayette, CA energy consultancy where he advised some of the largest energy companies in the United States including The Environmental Protection Agency, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the Electric Power Research Institute, Southern Company, Consolidated Edison, the Tennessee Valley Authority to name a few.

Mr. Hirsch currently serves as a Director for an Arizona-based National Private College and a regional solar construction company. He has advised governors, legislators, and agency directors on policy issues and has been recognized for excellence in leadership and sales in every one of his positions. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in energy policy and engineering.

As a Rotarian he has led the Rotary District 5500 Ride to End Polio, a Tucson based bicycle event. His efforts have raised more than $53 million over 9 years including a generous match from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, with every cent going to support Rotary International’s efforts to eradicate polio.
